The Warfel Family
We are Jim & Rachel Shenk from Mifflintown, Pennsylvania. We’re nestled between two mountain ridges in beautiful Juniata county. Here is a little snippet into our lives…

We enjoy business and finance and the challenge of building a successful livelihood. Rachel has a bookkeeping and QuickBooks consulting business and also enjoys being a mom to 6 month old Travis. He is such a delight and we are enjoying him immensely.

Jim is a country boy and entrepreneur at heart. He keeps busy with his haymaking and crop farming business, JimRay Farms. He also own a semi truck which is kept busy delivering hay to our customer base. We do custom work in addition to farming 700 acres of cropland. We pursue a nitch market in producing exceptional quality hay and corn; catering to an organic and natural market within about 100 miles. We are not solely organic, but have come to understand that natural is best. Forcing soils and crops to produce by abusing the soil and using chemicals, is one reason why people are so unhealthy today. Healthy soil produces healthy crops, which in turn produce healthy bodies.

We are passionate about discovering a way to offer healthy, farm fresh food at a price that is affordable for the poorest families. One day we walked into a fast food restaurant and upon seeing a “poor-soul” looking mother with her kids, had a blinding flash of the obvious...that’s all she could afford! This is not the way it should be. We are in the process of buying our own farm, which we’re very excited about! Our vision for the future is to influence our community to higher levels of farming practices and business integrity, and to a more progressive, successful way of thinking and healthier way of life.

We also have a burden for people who are unhealthy at a spiritual and emotional level. This is not the way it should be! We were not designed to carry the heavy yoke of sin and it eats away at the beauty and fullness of life God intended for us to experience. For this reason we are excited about seeing people delivered from bondage and set free.

Rachel has known Steve’s family for many years and traveled with them for about a year in 2001. We were asked to serve on the Strait Paths Board in 2009. We are excited to be a part of what God is doing through the Stutzman family.

In 2009, discussion began about the possibilities of the Stutzman Family becoming an independent agent. In November 2009 a board was formed, and a meeting held in Florida over New Years. Jan. 1st the Stutzmans became officially hired by SPF. Time is leased to Gospel Express or Door of Hope as needed, and the remainder of the time is underwritten through SPF.

We are Larry and Margaret Warfel from Halsey,OR. Larry is a cash crop farmer and sells tons of grass seed each year, Larry enjoys financial coaching and travels alot each year to make connections for his business and helping other farmers make wise investments and deal with risk management. Larry also serves on different boards for different operations across the country. Besides running a business Larry also has his Private's Pilots Licence and enjoys flying his Cessna 150 either for business or pleasure.

Larry and Margaret have known the Stutzman family most of their lives since Dorcas Stutzman's home town would be where Larry and Margret reside. After alot of prayer and consideration Larry and Margaret Joined the Stait Paths board and is currently filling the position of chairman of the board.

The Shenk Family
The Martin Family
We are John & Rosa Martin, Located in Rural Upstate NY close to the Canada Border, John & Rosa Recently were Married July of 2009 in Lancaster County PA, Where Rosa was from. John is employed at North Country Storage Barns, www.ncsbarns.com where he is active in the office managing the sales department. John also works in the local code department as a Code Official and oversees building projects in the area. Rosa stays busy helping John at the office and loves working in the sun planting garden and flowers etc.

John had a chance to get to know The Stutzman family better while driving their coach on a western tour sometime ago, Having the chance, while traveling, to be exposed to a broader worldview of the bondage that so many people live in and call "normal" gave John a passion to a deep desire to be a tool that God can use to direct people to true freedom and Light through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. John and Rosa Love to travel and make new friends.

The Yoder Family
We are the James and Donna Yoder Family from Kalona, IA.

This is the area Steve grew up in- He and James have known each other since school days.
James is self-employed as a farmer and businessman. He cash-crops, raises hogs and chickens, and has a custom manure-hauling operation, along with other fledgling enterprises. In between, James also is the regional “live-sound” man, setting up sound for many gospel venues in our area. Donna works at a local pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician. We make our home in the hills east of Kalona- when we are home.

We travel a lot for business, pleasure, music, and meetings, and someone has to keep all the schedules straight! James travelled with the Stutzmans on tours scheduled under Gospel Express, as the sound tech. During these travels he heard and saw their passion to reach hurting souls- and to reach people groups who were locked up inside. The Yoders consented to be on this board, to invest in the cause of Christ thru this ministry.

The Schlabach Family
Ken, Carma, Nicolas, Patch, and Kyra. We make our home on
a steep mountain in Northern North Carolina, an hour North of Asheville. Carma is busy fulltime taking care of the home, Kenny, and the three Children. Kenny is involved in a construction business with 2 other men. They stay busy with a lot of upper-class homes being built by folks moving into the beautiful mountains from other parts of the nation.

Kenny travelled with the Stutzmans- drove bus and sang bass- for a spell, years ago. During this time he was involved in altar calls and praying with folks who
responded, both in churches and in prisons. This birthed in him a desire to be
involved in the kind of ministry Strait Paths is- low and behold, he is a board
 member.

The Schlabach’s desire to see the gospel preached everywhere motivated their
involvement here as well as in other mission outreaches, and also their home
church. Even their workplace and home has become a place where community folk
recognize God’s peace and power displayed.
